The Maintenance Change Request Manager must identify tools that support systematic handling of Maintenance Change Request
Management process. While selecting the tool for Maintenance Change Request Management stream, factors such as ease of use,
scalability, flexibility, security etc., must be considered. These tools should support logging maintenance change
requests, managing release schedules for these maintenance change requests, logging and reporting defect data, managing
test results, communicating with relevant authorities for any approval (if required), reporting, etc. The tool must also be
capable of interfacing with other streams if required.
The Maintenance Change Request Management tools must be setup in collaboration with the Service Delivery Supervision
Manager.
